The Societas Ad Studia De Hominis Condicione Colenda is an international society of Feuerbach researchers, which was founded by Prof. Dr. Hans-Jürg Braun, Prof. Dr. Werner Schuffenhauer, Prof. Dr. F. Tomasoni and Prof. Dr. H.-M. Sass 1987 in Zurich. Researchers from Europe, North and South America and Asia are members, who have the goal to open and save the influential and hefty tome of the philosopher Ludwig Feuerbach and to work out his role regarding actual questions of science, education and society. The International Society of the Feuerbach Researchers is a society of learned members in the field of philosophical studies. The society's seat is the president's address. It is a non-profit organization and the business year is the calendar year. The society plans and organizes international and interdisciplinary meetings and is independent on any political, ideological or confessional positions. The society's ongoing objective is the improvement and support of Feuerbach's editions. Additionally, our purpose is to advance scientific analysis and philosophical discussions on the subject of Ludwig Feuerbach's works. Primarily, it is deemed important that discussion and debate be devoted to matters that encourage discourse on human existence concerning the correlation of origin, affiliation with the historical world, and our relevance to nature and society. Interested persons can become a member by application and admission through the board committee. With a broadened membership, The International Society of the Feuerbach Researchers seeks to be increasingly inclusive of scholarly bodies internationally. The annual membership fee of $25 becomes due with the beginning of each business year. |
